As a landscape artist I draw inspiration from the unseen or overlooked elements of nature such as the forest edge or the reflections of nature within our waterways. Often experimental I use a number of techniques and paint media which I layer and then work back through always searching for ways to abstract the landscape and to capture the essence of nature.
